Ontario Police investigators, working along side the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force, have arrested a suspect in connection with an Ontario homicide. The incident occurred in the 300 block of East Carlton Street, on May 12, 2018.

The suspect, Alex Garcia, was taken into custody on May 24, in San Diego County. Garcia, a 39-year-old resident of Ontario, was arrested for the shooting death of 41-year-old Nino Munoz, also of Ontario.

Ontario Police are investigating a shooting that led to the death of a man in the 300 block of East Carlton Street, in the City of Ontario.

Police were called to the scene of the shooting early this morning at approximately 12:03 AM. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male victim lying on the front porch of the residence with an apparent gun shot wound. The victim succombed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by Ontario Fire paramedics. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival and has not been identified.
