The Reign and Hope Reigns Foundation have agreed to pledge $60,000 across two years to the Lightspeed Academy of the City of Ontario Public Library

The Ontario Reign, the Hope Reigns Foundation and the City of Ontario have announced a partnership to support the Ontario City Library’s Lightspeed Academy. The Reign have pledged a donation of $60,000, coinciding with the Reign hosting the 2020 AHL All-Star Classic, which was announced yesterday.

 On August 21, 2018, the Ontario City Council unanimously approved a Smoke-Free and Tobacco-Free Parks Ordinance, which took effect yesterday. In order to preserve public health, safety and maintain a family-friendly atmosphere in our City parks, the ordinance eliminates the use of tobacco and e-cigarettes in public parks.

The Ovitt Family Community Library celebrated the grand opening of the much-anticipated Lightspeed Makerspace. Yesterday, more than 300 community members, joined by Councilmember Debra Dorst-Porada, Library Board of Trustees, and representatives from Ontario-Montclair School District, joined in on the celebration.
