Ontario Police have arrested a man believed to be responsible for 18 robberies throughout San Bernardino, Los Angeles and Riverside counties.

Donald Mooch Machuca, a 41-year-old male, was arrested on December 12, 2019 at his home in the 800 block of Citrus Avenue in the City of Azusa.

Machuca is believed to have committed 18 robberies in which he threatened to shoot store employees if they did not meet his demands for money. Investigators from surrounding agencies continue to search for evidence linking Machuca to each robbery and so far have positively identified… Read More

Ontario, Calif. – The Ontario Police Department received a $550,000 grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) for a one-year enforcement and education program. The money will fund various activities intended to reduce deaths and injuries on California roads.

The grant-related activities are for the 2020 federal fiscal year, which runs from Oct. 1, 2019 to Sept. 30, 2020.

The funding from the OTS will be used for numerous programs, including:
