On April 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Ontario Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public its 11th opportunity in six years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.

In observance of Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 8, the City of Ontario is pleased to announce the next citywide yard (garage) sale weekend has been moved to May 13, 14, and 15, 2016 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). If rainy conditions exist on that Friday or Saturday, an alternate yard sale may be held on May 20, 21, and 22, 2016 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). The third yard sale weekend of 2016 will be August 5, 6, and 7.
