The Huck Finn Jubilee Bluegrass  Music Festival, produced by the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau, is committed to keeping traditional Bluegrass alive by passing it on to youth.  “This year we are proud to announce the partnership with the Folk Music Center in Claremont, California to provide the Music Education for Kids program during the 3-day event in June” said Michael Krouse, President and CEO.  

Distracted driving is such an important safety issue that April is recognized as National Distracted Driving Awareness Month. In California, Police, Sheriff and CHP officials are joining the Office of Traffic Safety, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), as well as law enforcement throughout the country, working together to focus on education as well as enforcement.

The Ontario Police Department is investigating a fatal traffic collision involving an on-duty San Bernardino Police Officer. The driver of the vehicle that struck the Officer’s patrol car has been arrested on felony DUI charges. San Bernardino Police Officer, Bryce Hanes, pictured below, was transported to Kaiser Hospital in Fontana where he died from his injuries.
