Join Ontario Museum of History & Art’s Curator of Collections, Michelle Sifuentes, and representatives from the Chaffey High School Alumni Association, for the Museum’s Highlights from the Collection talk on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at 2 PM at the Museum.  

New York Times bestselling author Gabrielle Zevin will visit the Ovitt Family Community Library on Tuesday, September 27, 2016.  The Library is sponsoring Ontario Reads, a community wide event which features Zevin’s optimistic, uplifting book The Storied Life of A. J. Officers from the Ontario Police Department’s DUI Enforcement Team will be deploying this weekend to stop and arrest alcohol and drug-impaired drivers in the department’s ongoing traffic safety campaign. DUI Saturation Patrols will deploy on Friday, September 9, 2016 between the hours of 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. in areas with high frequencies of DUI collisions and / or arrest.

The Ontario Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 11 year old girl.

Jael Parker was reported missing by her parents at about 3:33 p.m. this afternoon. The young girl left for a bike ride at about 2:00 p.m. and has not returned. She normally rides near her apartment in the 2000 block of South Euclid and not known to venture far from the complex.

The Ontario Police Department Traffic Unit will be conducting a DUI/Driver’s License Checkpoint on Friday, September 2, 2016, at an undisclosed location within the city limits between the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

The Ontario Police Department is looking for teenagers and young adults to join our Ontario Police Explorer program. If you are 14 through 20 years of age, have no felony convictions, of good moral character, and have a minimum 2.0 GPA, please join us this Thursday, September 1st, 2016, at 6:00 PM, outside the front doors of the Ontario Police Department.
