Job seekers in the Inland Empire will have firsthand access to managers, recruiters and hiring professionals at Ontario Mills’ annual Holiday Job Fair this October 19. From 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., a variety of diverse retailers will be represented at the center’s food court, looking for ambitious and career-oriented attendees. 

The City of Ontario is pleased to announce the next citywide yard (garage) sale weekend is November 4, 5, and 6, 2016 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). If rainy conditions exist on that Friday or Saturday, an alternate yard sale may be held on November 11, 12, and 13, 2016 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). This will be the last citywide yard sale of 2016. The first yard sale weekend of 2017 will be February 3, 4, and 5.

The Ontario Museum of History & Art has been honoring Day of the Dead traditions with large scale exhibits and programs for two decades. On Saturday, October 1, 2016, at 9 AM, the City of Ontario Fire Department will host its annual Open House event to commemorate National Fire Prevention Week at the Ontario Fire Training Center.  This event will feature live firefighting and rescue demonstrations, as well as static displays of fire apparatus.  Some of the local agencies and organizations displaying safety related information include: Fire and Burn Foundation, California Highway Patrol, Upland Fire Department’s Reach Helicopter and several City of Ontario Departments.

The Ontario Museum of History & Art is currently undergoing landscape renovations. The project will transform 2.4 acres of water-consuming turf and asphalt parking lot, on the grounds of the Museum, into a sustainable outdoor educational garden with multiple environmental, economic, health and social benefits.
