The Center City Project Area encompasses the historic Euclid Avenue District, as well as East Holt Boulevard. Ontario's City Hall and surrounding Civic Center, Senior Center, Main Library, the Museum of History and Art, Ontario Town Square, and the Law School of the University of La Verne are all within the Center City project area. The Euclid Avenue District provides exciting opportunities for potential retail establishments, entertainment destinations, commercial and professional services. Planned as an intimate and pedestrian-friendly environment, the Euclid Avenue District will potentially include anchor stores, specialty stores and restaurants as well as professional offices. Development is designed to create an immediate and positive identity transforming the area into a comfortable place to stroll and be seen. While offering a variety of goods and services to serve the surrounding neighborhood, the District will also take advantage of the area’s excellent regional access.

East Holt Boulevard is the gateway to Ontario International Airport and the Ontario Convention Center. Business Park, light industrial and commercial uses are encouraged along this major corridor. State-of-art cargo facilities, ground handling and airport related services will support the growth of LA/Ontario International airport bordering the east end of the this project area.

The current goals of the Center City Project include: improving aesthetics on major corridors, promoting the creation of a mixed-use urban village in the Civic Center area and preserving the City's historic commercial structures, neighborhoods and housing stock.
