ONTARIO RECREATION & COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT CELEBRATES NATIONAL SENIOR CENTER MONTH – “OUR HOUSE, ONTARIO SENIOR CENTER"

The Ontario Recreation & Community Services Department is celebrating National Senior Center Month, an initiative by the National Council on Aging (NCOA), by inviting our Ontario Senior Center to showcase their community, the memories created, their diverse programs, and the vibrant role of older adults in making Ontario a lively and robust community.

This year's theme, "Our House, Ontario Senior Center," underscores the unique role of the Ontario Senior Center as a central hub for community connection and engagement. It's a welcoming space where older adults can come together, build meaningful relationships, and participate in a wide range of enriching programs and activities that contribute to their overall well-being and the vitality of our Ontario community.

The Ontario Senior Center offers a diverse array of wholesome, year-round recreational services specifically designed for the older adults in our community. From fitness classes to art and educational opportunities to cultural events, the Ontario Senior Center strives to meet the City Council's goal of enriching seniors' lives with enhanced recreational, educational, and cultural activities.

Ontario residents can learn more about the Ontario Senior Center's programs, classes, activities, and special events by visiting www.OntarioCA.gov/Seniors or by contacting the Ontario Senior Center directly at (909) 395-2021.
