Ontario, CA – Officers from the Ontario Police Department’s DUI Enforcement Team will be deploying this weekend to stop and arrest alcohol and drug-impaired drivers in the department’s ongoing traffic safety campaign. DUI Saturation Patrols will deploy on Friday, January 27, 2017 between the hours of 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. in areas with high frequencies of DUI collisions and / or arrest.

Police investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying three men believed to be involved in a shooting that took place in the 100 block of E. De Anza Circle, in the City of Ontario.

The shooting occurred on January 22, 2017, at approximately 11:05 AM. Three male suspects forced their way into the victim’s home and started an altercation. One of the suspects fired multiple shots from a handgun into the residence, striking a mother and her adult son. Ontario Police investigators have arrested a man believed to be responsible for downloading child pornography for over 10 years.

Ian Foster Murdock, a 54-year-old man from Ontario, was arrested at approximately 10:52 AM this morning. He has been booked at West Valley Detention Center for possession of child pornography.

On January 27, 2016, Arturo Perez was found murdered in an office area inside of the family owned business, Art’s Forklift. Mr. Perez had a gunshot wound to his upper body. As the one year anniversary of this murder quickly approaches, detectives have exhausted all leads in the investigation and are asking for the public’s help.
