Police investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man believed to be involved in two incidents of sexual assault against a child.

The two events occurred at Burlington Coat Factory located at 4777 E. Mills Circle. The suspect lured female victims, ages 5-10 years old, away from their parents and inappropriately touched them.

Detectives continue to investigate 23-year-old Eric Vargas of Los Angeles, for lewd acts with a minor under 14 years old. The initial investigation revealed that Vargas befriended the 12-year-old girl on the social media dating site “Kik.” He then met with the victim on several occasions.

This Halloween weekend, the Ontario Police Department is reminding Halloween partiers that Buzzed Driving Is Drunk Driving. If your Halloween party involves alcohol then you have to make a plan to get home without getting behind the wheel.

During the month of November, Ontario Police personnel will be growing beards to raise money and awareness to fight cancer. Traditional grooming standards regarding facial hair are being relaxed so employees can participate in the month long No-Shave November.
