Ontario Police Detectives arrested a suspect who is believed to have committed numerous acts of child molestation on a family member.

The suspect, Ernesto Santos, was arrested today in the 1000 block of North Mountain Avenue in the City of Ontario. Santos is a 49-year-old male from the City of Ontario. He has been booked on numerous charges of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14. He is currently being held at the West Valley Detention Center on $500,000 bail.

On Sunday, July 8, 2018, Ontario Police arrested Crystal Gonzales for child endangerment at the Wal-Mart, located at 1333 N Mountain Ave.

Police were called to the scene reference two young children locked inside a vehicle at approximately 7:44 PM. Upon arrival, they discovered two young children (age 1 year and 9 months) were locked inside a white GMC in distress, due to high temperatures. When police arrived they discovered the vehicle was not running and the air conditioning was turned off.
